About Revathryn
The philosophy behind the project and the problem it aims to solve.
Why Revathryn exists
Software repositories are constantly evolving. As projects grow, understanding their structure, identifying potential problems and maintaining visibility over quality become increasingly difficult. Revathryn exists to make that ongoing work simpler.
It aims to go beyond isolated static analysis by providing a structured approach to repository discovery, code analysis, issue identification and operational visibility.
The challenge of larger repositories
Maintaining and understanding a large repository is not only about finding defects. It is also about knowing what is in the codebase, what has changed and where attention is most valuable. Without structure, that context is easy to lose.
Traditional analysis meets AI-assisted review
Traditional code analysis is deterministic and repeatable, but it is limited in the range of concerns it can express. AI-assisted review can reason about broader questions, but it benefits from structure and context. Revathryn combines the two: structured repository understanding and analysis form the foundation, and AI-assisted review engines apply their reasoning on top of it.
Traceable, structured findings
Findings are not free-form commentary. They are structured issues with category, severity, status and supporting context, so developers can review the reasoning behind each result and act on it deliberately.
Developers stay in control
Revathryn is designed to provide useful engineering insight, not to make decisions on a developer's behalf. The goal is to surface what needs attention and keep the decisions about what to accept, change or ignore with the people responsible for the code.
